These images shot for a book from Small Change Publishing called, "Hidden & Hard Work: Stories of Peacemaking in BC's Lower Mainland". The photos profile various people working to bridge divides both in our society and within ourselves.  From stories about people working with refugees, to a Muslim food bank ,to work with convicted sex offenders, to foster care, and helping bring healing between evangaliaism and the LGBT communities — this was such an inspiring and challenging project for me.  All of the stories tell of transformation by meeting with others who are different, by embracing the other. These people inspire me to work to bring healing to places of pain in our world.
